Down South Cappuccino (5/7), Saturday

If you want to see the bigger version of any photo, simply click on it

This morning the sky was absolutely grey and it was raining a little bit. So we decided to do a little walk first. Yesterday in the visitors centre they told us there is a nice little walk around the Big Brook dam. So that’s what we did first:

For some parts along the track we were accompanied by a number of these little birdies:

Then from a small bird-hut we were able to snap this Kookaburra.

After this walk we were ready to have a nice cappuccino. We had seen on the map that there was a local art-gallery annex coffee shop, so tried our luck there. Unfortunately the cappuccino was a bit disappointing again.

and again the little bird that can be found all around WA

While we were having lunch at a hotel along the main road through the town, some travellers were having lunch in there own camper across the street:

After lunch (by the way: again no cappuccino points ;-) the weather got a little better so we decided to go to the Gloucester Tree. The preparation and way up:

DONE IT!

Ok, done it, but paid for it ;-). After driving back to the motel I almost could not get out of the car. My leg muscles were pretty crampy! So, just a bit of reading for the rest of the afternoon (and some photos from the motel veranda:
