Well, that was a very enjoyable and impressive Australia Day ... Our friends Edie and Jeff invited us to celebrate Australia Day with them at their sisters apartment on the South Perth shore. Their apartment happens to have a nice sizeable (ok, just say BIG) balcony with a great view to the city. So, clearly ideal situation to bring my camera (and not to forget tripod!)..
Here is an impression of that day / night. It all started in the afternoon with some light entertainment (boats, plains, helicopters).. and at 8PM the main show **** FIREWORKS ****
Their neighbours would be out on the balcony later as well:
Did I mention the view?
Here some of us are (ok without me - taking the shots :-)) nice and early ready for the show:
some photos of the aerial show:
I may be repeating myself, but did I mention the view? :-)
Some of the food (and preparations - or was it the washing up ?)

And then it was time for the *** FIREWORKS ***. Not much to say about it, except: ENJOY :-)
Of course starting with THE VIEW again (just before it getting darker)
Curious yet about the *** FIREWORKS *** ?? Ok, here it comes ......
Oh wait, before I forget, if you have a big enough monitor/screen, to enjoy the firework photos the most, click on them OR go straight to the link at the bottom of this post - then click on the first one and browse through them...ENJOY:
The Monster of 'Loch Swan River'???
