Ewald: Ondertussen hebben we hier ook aardig wat regen. Zij het dan in de verste verte niet in NSW-hoeveelheden! Wel een klein beetje reden tot zorg, zolang de 'backfill' van het zand nog niet gedaan is.

The concrete has been sprayed last Wednesday. Some photos (this time a bit smaller size, click on them if you want to see the medium sizes ;-)

Swimming Pool - Update 4
The 13th (last Wednesday) the metal boundary which will confine the concrete is being built :
Can you see where the 'entry steps' of the pool will be?
The next day (Thursday) the steel enforcement is being laid:
And also they have now placed a few stencils to help preventing the pillar from caving in. We are still a bit worried, and are really hoping we will not have rain any time soon ....

Swimming Pool - Update (photos ;-)
Ok, finally some photos of the pool building process. Of course the pavers had to go first. This was done at the end of March, while waiting for the final council approvals:
Two blocks on the right the building preparation are starting too:
Then a good two months later, the day for digging finally was there:
And from this moment on we were a bit worried. Look at how close the digging has gone to the pillar ...
